Number 12 Cider started with 2 boys spending summers in Minneapolis stealing apples from neighbors’ trees to becoming Minnesota’s largest cidery.

Number 12 Cider is named after the Minneapolis cidery’s Minnesota State Fair Blue-Ribbon cider. That award-winning cider came from batch 12 founders, Steve and Colin’s 12th batch. Since, batch 12’s recipe was never recorded, Number 12 Cider now strives to always think of new ways to reinvent tradition one cider at a time, to exceed batch 12’s award-winning standards. And they are.

With 30 years of cider making experience, Number 12 Cider brings a fresh cider experience to Minneapolis. Opening our doors in 2018 + becoming Minneapolis North Loop’s largest cidery. Number 12’s taproom offers 16 lines of distinctive ciders, made using centuries-old techniques. The taproom offers a relaxed, cozy but modern atmosphere.

Number 12 Cider offers a 1,000 sq ft patio with a wood-fire pizza truck serving delicious traditional, gluten-free, and/or vegan options year-round. The patio is a hub of activity in the North Loop—with corn hole/bags + fire pits in the winter (s’mores makings available at the pizza truck).

While we sadly can’t have our furry friends inside the taproom, the patio is pet-friendly with water bowls so everyone stays refreshed.
